VT202 with AT&T SIM Card Issue
The issue is that the new AT&T Sim cards that Navman started using in Feb-2026, lose their connection and a firmware update is required on the VT202 device.
An AT&T SIM number starts with 890 and a Jasper SIM starts with 896. The SIM number can be seen in against the Device in TN360.
To update the firmware:
1. Locate the VT202 tracking unit behind the dash, note: panels may need to be removed
2. Turn the vehicle on and allow tracker to boot up showing all lights and have running for 2 mins
3. Hold the reset button on the front of the unit for 90 seconds until all lights on tracker go off then come back on again
4. Wait untill all the lights are on and a green light pop up labelled "Cell" is on so the tracker is re-connecting to the mobile network
5. Turn the ignition off and then on again to enable the tracker to start tracking correctly.
6. Check the vehicle tracking correctly in TN360 on the mobile or PC. Note: missing tracking data will be uploaded
